Ovi Store Nokia’s Ovi Store, a scalable distribution network that’s poised to be unrivalled in size and developer opportunity, uses
advanced content-targeting capabilities to offer mobile consumers content that is tailored to their social connections as
well as their physical locations.
Ovi Store consolidates into a unified channel the best experiences from Nokia’s former content services, including the Nokia Software Market, Download!, MOSH, and WidSets. It also expands the range of Ovi services to deliver applications and content influenced by the people and places that matter to each individual consumer.
Ovi Store amplifies revenue opportunities for mobile developers and content providers, while simplifying and personalising the content-discovery process for consumers.
To get started, register as an Ovi publisher. After you’re accepted as a publisher, you’ll be able to submit your applications and content for distribution through Ovi Store. You’ll also have access to a publishing guide and other information to assist you in the publishing process.
Mobile enterprise applications are sold and delivered as parts of larger business solutions, generally through VARs or system integrators. Enterprise decision makers require that these solutions provide device and network security; workflow and data synchronization; and remote access services. They also require that their channel partners provide service and support for devices and applications alike. All of these factors distinguish the business and sales-channel models for enterprise applications from their consumer counterparts.
Nokia for Business is a broad and integrated channel program, giving you access to highly qualified VARs and system integrators that can combine
your applications with the full range of Nokia’s device and software products as part of an overall solution for businesses.
